Multiple payment methods
Open-loop systems enable payers to use a single account with multiple payment methods - bank card, Digital ID, eWallet, dynamically generated QR code, or co-branded and contactless cards using Mastercard, Visa, UPI or any local networks. These methods of payment are all accepted across multiple merchants and transport operators, making it possible for anyone to use public transport without needing to queue to purchase a ticket.
Easy enrollment
Enrollment is simple for both operators and commuters. It does not require extensive training of employees on using the O-CITY system to start validating commuter e-tickets or deploy the system on your fleet. The solution possess plug-and-play feature, which allow transport service provider to start operating withing 24 hours.
Contactless payments
O-CITY is an open-loop system that provides various contactless payment options. Card based debit or credit contactless payment instruments can be used to transact via local, Visa, Mastercard, Amex, or UnionPay card schemes. Emerging payment methods such as mobile wallets (ApplePay, SamsungPay, GooglePay, Alipay and others) are enabled while NFC-enabled wearables such as smart watches or wristbands, which are increasingly used at city attractions or events, removing the need to wait in line, are also supported by the system.
